VIVA LAS VEGAS

So it seems to have been a long time coming but we are finally about to start our trip! woopwoo! First stop - Vegas . The plan has deviated from renting an RV in Atlanta and driving across to the west coast, mainly due to the rise in petrol prices - yes this has shit all over our party just like it has everything else! So instead we are flying to Vegas and starting the journey from there. For those of you who don't know Vegas is close to the west coast which means it's not too far (in American geographical terms) to California's coast line which includes San Diego, LA and San Francisco. As much as I appear to be grumbling about this, it is actually serving me well as I figure the sooner I get to Vegas the better! So much for the cultural road trip, eh?

Only problem is it's expected to be about 108 degrees, for everyone back in the motherland this equals 42 degrees Celsius - yes I'm thinking I might not survive it either! It's been about 34 degrees in Atlanta which has been pretty unbearable. If we had any sense we wouldn't have planned to visit at the hottest time of the year. So expect to hear lots of complaining from me later in the week. Yes you can all kill me when I get home as I know you're sat in the rain, mwah ha ha ha.

So for now to keep yourselves entertained take a look at the Stratosphere - just to make you feel better that you're sat at home/work bored out of your mind!
